Introducing the Shinto

As an overview, shinto is a ancient japanese religion that is practiced by the natives based on worship of nature's forms and forces. The beliefs, rituals and prayers are transmitted by the chinese in the 5th century. It is recorded in 3 texts, the Kojiki, the Nihongi and the Yengishiki. The practice of pure shinto practices involves prayers, food offerings and dancing. Generally, the religion is accepted by the japanese people majority. The practiced of Shinto nowadays is influenced by buddhism practice.
